Cardiac Risk in the Young
Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die of
undiagnosed heart conditions. Since 1995, Cardiac Risk in
the Young (CRY) has been working to reduce the frequency
of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). CRY supports young
people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac
conditions and offers bereavement support to families
affected by YSCD. We spoke to Ben Robinson, head of
fundraising, at Cardiac Risk in the Young.
Q: Why did you choose Blackbaud and

A: We wanted to refresh our fundraising, to move beyond what we
were currently achieving, and overcome existing inefficiencies that are
present in many growing charities like ourselves. We believe that by
