CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT Cystic Fibrosis Trust The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is a UK-wide charity dedicated to supporting those affected by Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Through investing in research, providing access to medicines and promoting quality patient care, the Trust's mission is to create a world where CF is no longer a life-limiting condition. When COVID-19 hit, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust had to cancel their upcoming bespoke events, including their ultra marathon including Great Strides™, and face the reality that their current event offerings weren't suitable for adapting. This led them into new territory, investing in a virtual strategy, and creating a microsite with the help of Blackbaud Digital Services. We caught up with the Trust's Event Manager, Scarlett Sharpe, and discussed how embracing virtual fundraising allowed them to find new opportunities during UK lockdown. Q: How were your existing event plans impacted when COVID-19 struck? A: We have had to cancel our bespoke events, such as Great Strides™, and instead launch new ones. We didn't feel that adapting these events would meet our audience's needs, especially when we knew we couldn't create a safe, physical The Cystic Fibrosis Trust's Microsite is powered by: Blackbaud Digital Services "The team was so quick to build the microsite, they provided prompt responses to everything we needed, and the branding looked great." —Scarlett Sharpe, Cystic Fibrosis Trust Event Manager Learn more "Blackbaud's behavioural emails tailored the content to each fundraiser's goals and progress, allowing us to go beyond creating a standard supporter journey" —Scarlett Sharpe, Cystic Fibrosis Trust Event Manager 1 +44 (0) 203 932 1600 | |
