Since implementing Raiser's Edge NXT six months ago, what initial feedback have you received from staff members? "Already the feedback has been fantastic. Guildhall staff members are excited to be using it, and it's making our jobs a lot easier. We're able to access information faster and more easily—it's noticeably quicker to navigate than the previous system. People are owning data, and it's now easier for us to filter information that we don't need, which in turn will make it possible to involve people who aren't directly concerned with fundraising and development." How will Raiser's Edge NXT help you take Guildhall's development activities to the next level? "At the moment, we're looking at integrating external systems into Raiser's Edge NXT, which just wouldn't have been possible before. The capability for new users to view information easily is much more sophisticated. We are also excited by the opportunities to automate data transfer processes and cut down on admin time, which ultimately means we are freeing up time to spend on engagement with our supporters. "Moving forward, the plan is for everyone to see Raiser's Edge NXT as the system they want to use. We want to make fundraising and development something that everyone throughout the school will buy into, and because NXT can be accessed anywhere, from any device, it will be easy for anyone in the organisation to see at-a-glance results and reports on campaigns. The ability to drill down to specific information will make it much easier to facilitate ownership of data and promote the organisation-wide fundraising culture that we're striving for. "At the moment, we're really just scratching the surface in terms of our use of Raiser's Edge NXT. But already we're seeing benefits and, most importantly, we can see the benefits that will come in the future. It's such a sophisticated solution, but it's also fun to use.
