CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT Guildhall School of Music & Drama The Guildhall School of Music & Drama is one of the world's leading conservatoires and drama schools, offering musicians, actors and theatre technicians an inspiring environment in which to develop as artists and professionals. It has over 900 students in higher education, from nearly 60 countries around the world. In addition to raising money to ensure that its training facilities are state of the art, the school also provides some form of scholarship support to over half of its students. Guildhall had been using Raiser's Edge, Blackbaud's original donor management and fundraising solution, to manage its extensive development programme since 2006. The school recently moved to Raiser's Edge NXT, a cloud-based solution. Chris Newson, external relations data manager for Guildhall, shares why the school made the move and the results his team is already seeing. Why did you decide to advance to Raiser's Edge NXT? "We've always been happy with Raiser's Edge, and the results we've seen over the years have been fantastic. But time doesn't stand still, and we felt it was right to step up a gear in our fundraising reach, so that we can continue to provide things like scholarships and new funding opportunities for our students. We were keen to get involved with Raiser's Edge NXT right from the beginning. The functionality is modern, user friendly, and can be accessed securely from anywhere. These are all key things that will help involve everyone throughout the school." "I love the partnership approach we have with Blackbaud. It's like we're on a journey together, and we're both focused on a common goal." —Chris Newson, External Relations Data Manager The Guildhall School of Music & Drama is powered by: • Raiser's Edge NXT ™ Learn more +44 (0) 207 601 7100
